Our “people” are not just those who work in the retreat, but also the people who live around us. You might meet a little kid on their way to school, dreaming of one day joining our team. Or you might chat with a proud mom who talks about her son working at Panhou. We’re all connected, and we hope you’ll feel that connection when visiting us!

Sustainable Tourism

Panhou Retreat operates under the belief that travel can have a positive impact. We prioritize responsible travel, which involves minimizing our environmental impact, respecting local culture, and supporting the local economies in which we operate.

Respect: We show respect for nature by following clear policies on Reduce – Reuse – Recycle, Waste Management, and Energy Usage.

Love: We love and care for our people, with fair employment policies and tourism activities that benefit the local community. In fact, 100% of the people working here are locals from nearby villages!

Preserve: We celebrate local culture by integrating cultural imprints into the retreat’s design. In our garden, we built a museum displaying traditional costumes, honoring the cultural and historical beauty of the ethnic minorities in Hoang Su Phi.

Grow: We focus on creating positive impacts in everything we do, and foster growth in each element around us, from planting trees to offering education to our people. We create a safe environment where both nature and humans coexist and grow together.
